Marwood is an American rock band led by singer/songwriter Benji Rogers. The band originated after Rogers and guitarist Rob Overbey, who had previously played together in various bands in Los Angeles, relocated to New York City. There, they transitioned from the Ben Rogers Band—a solo project that released "Another Day Gone" in 2000—into a more collaborative group, eventually adopting the name Marwood in 2002. The name "Marwood" is a nod to the film Withnail and I and also happens to be John Cleese's middle name
